NEW CONTAINER!

Image
Here is the timelapse from the guys unloading the container yesterday.  It's going to be so fun to start sorting through all the new finds. Stay tuned and keep checking the just landed page for new arrivals! My fave so far was this vintage wool sheep that was used in stores throughout Holland in the 60's to display the feel of real sheepskin they were selling.

Bobby Berk

Bobby Berk, the designer from everyone's favorite recent reboot 'Queer Eye,' dropped by with The LA Times a couple weeks ago. It was so much fun to hear how he relies on us for design inspiration and unique vintage finds he can't find anywhere else. Not to mention, to be in the company of so many other great LA mainstays. Modern Macrame

Image
A couple weeks ago, we got to help lifestyle guru Emily Katz, author of Modern Macrame , deck out her book tour stop at Lightlab in Atwater Village.  She was going for a fuss-free, modern and of course - boho - brunch setting where she could showcase her macrame designs highlighted throughout the new book. Although the planning process was quick, we all rallied and the finished product turned out beautifully.  The space featured our Castelli Birch stacking chairs and these Marko industrial stacking tables . A Pretty Cool Space

Image
We were so excited when we got the call to help producer/photographer/podcaster  Caroline Lee , and author/stylist/blogger  Anne Sage  source the perfect chairs for their dreamy Art Deco office project in Pasadena. This power duo has been on our radar for a while but this was the first time we got to work together. Since they were looking to repeat an arch pattern throughout the space and incorporate a girly, yet sophisticated pink-centric color scheme, our Thonet stacking chairs were the perfect fit. (These are no longer available but shop another style here ).  Scroll down to see the time-lapse of the entire transformation (that ceiling though!!) and see photos of the finished product.
